I purchased DVD XCopy Gold (version 1.5.2) in Sept '03. My use for it was/is to make copies of my dvd's that I make from my video footage using Pinnacle's Studio 8 video editing software. I have been out of the country (U.S.) for 2 and 1/2 years (Peace Corps - Zambia) and I recently returned and am now working on my video footage. I recently downloaded and installed an update from Pinnacle to help my editing software perform better (from version 8.10.4 to version 8.12.7.0). However, I noticed that my DVD XCopy does not make good copies of my personal dvds now. The copied ones skip, stutter, and/or cease-up when played on my computer and DVD player for my TV. I'm thinking that the update/download for my video editing software has created a problem for the XCopy software. Is there a download for the XCopy software that could repair this problem???
Secondly, it's terrible what happened to 321 Studios in my absence. Their software is ideal for my projects. XCopy can make a copy of my video projects in 1/6th the time it takes my editing software to read, render, and burn a copy. Thus, if their is no cure for this problem, is there comparable software on the market that can do what DVD XCopy used to do??? And where can I find it??? (How are SlyFox's AnyDVD and CloneDVD??? - but, would like to continue using software that I have already used and paid for - ie XCopy).

the version 152 was the last update
clonedvd can do the job well if the format is VIDEO_TS you end ou with.

Really??? I thought I read something somewhere about version 3.0.4 - or was that for XCopy Platinum or something???

there is a DVD XCopy Gold 304,as of today i do not know of any gold download sites
gold 304 has dvdxcopy 1.52
