I've used this program for years now and somehow lost my original program disk so I protect it like a child. Here's my recent issues though. I have burned DVDs to dvd-R and dvd+R media all these years but now for some reason I can't record the DVD-R disks anymore. Why it matters, I found more errors on the DVD+R disks and they become unreadable in both my computer and DVD player. Why is that?
The burner is compatible with both formats (lite-on). Yesterday, I found that I can control the burn speed by entering Properties of the DVD burner and fixing it at 1X. I can only assume that the DVD+R media does not record well at high speed. I'll test it tonight with my recent copies.
