The help file is missing for the platinum install. It is looking for the file "platinum". Is this a normal error or a single case?

Thanks

No, I did see the text file. I mean an actual help file. One that describes all the config and features. When you select help in plat. it tries to load the file "platinum.hlp" This file was not in the install. That would be the file I am looking for. Otherwise a tutorial on the web site would be helpful too. Basically this program has lots of options and configuration, but nothing explaining what they all mean.

I get this same error when I press F1:
Quote:
Cannot find the C:\Program Files\321Studios\Platinum.HLP file. Do you want to try to find this file yourself?
(I was foolish enough to try to find it.) I can't believe that there just plain old isn't any help. Reading posts in this forum and the 3 2 1 Studios forums I've learned a lot, and I'm sure these forums will prove very useful in the future, but the product needs a help feature! Certainly 3 2 1 Studios doesn't expect people to learn how to use the product from forum postings.

I know there is help in their other products. Maybe the Platinum help file is in development and will be posted for download in the future?

I'm surprised that there isn't more of an outcry about this in this forum. Maybe there is but all the posts get deleted?
