I really like this software but I have two suggestions.

The thing that I dislike the most is that it doesn't give me any way of knowing that it has finished reading the original and is ready to write the copy. Could the program open the reader/writer drawer when it is ready for you to swap the original for the blank?

The other thing is that when you insert the blank it now waits for the user to click the start button before it takes off writing. Maybe there a rationale for this that has eluded me, but why can't it just start writing at that point? These two user things cause me a lot of grumbling and swearing when I realize that a half hour or more has gone by and it is just waiting for me to do something that it could have alerted me to. Thing is, I am usually doing several other things at the same time, but want to get my DVDs copied as fast as possible.

You can go to Control Panel/Sounds & Audio Devices/Sound Tab/Scroll down to DVDXCopy XPRESS and you can apply a sound for Read Complete & Write Complete

Actually, you can't. Not with Windows 2000 anyways. At least I can't. Is that a bug I should report maybe?

And while that would be a welcome addition, if you are not in the room when it beeps, you still miss the completion, whereas if the drawer opens up, it is pretty obvious that the time has come to take action.

And even that doesn't address the problem of having to click Start to begin writing after inserting the blank.
