Cannot Activate DVD X Show

Good Day,

Many years ago, I purchased DVD X Show from 321 Studios. I installed it and used it on an old computer, which I not longer have. It was junked for parts. I have a legitimate CD, license ID and password but I cannot activate the software because as we all know there is no 321 website anymore to provide the validation. Does anyone know how to work around this problem?

There was a guy called MIKE IN MAINE, who was doing a great job of helping to reactivate. But he's disappeared. In fact it seems as if he's been "eliminated" by the powers that be and banned from the site, for some reason or other. Reactivating? Hard to believe.

I suggest you contact IRELAND, who moderates this forum, to help you out.

MIKE was removed because of not obeying the rules of the site.

if he does come back under a new user name,he will follow the rules of the site.or get his account deleted again.

Well.....I need my activations reset, and it's a "NO GO" by DvdXCopy International.

I am not asking for support (the reason for denial), only activations and don't feel the request is unreasonable, as they have the information on our accounts. I am even willing to pay a nominal fee, if that's what it takes. Or give us a code so we never have to plead for activations for XShow or XMaker again. These programs should never have been part of the cease and desist order. We will never bother them again. That way everyone goes away happy?

BTW. I thought MaineMike was doing a great job. No amount of begging has me activated, and I sure could use your help.

I to have the same problem, and have contacted
DvdXCopy International twice they will not help.
Any suggestions?!!!??? I will pay.

If you have your License # and password you should be able to activate dvdXshow. PM me if you have problems.

(1) Have you ever had it activated? If yes then by who - 321Studios, aftermarket seller of 321Studios products, etc?

(2) Do you have your License ID # (not Customer ID #) and password used on 321Studios websit?

(3) Will it install and just not activate or not install?

I purchased this DVD X Show and DVD X Copy Platinum from 321 studios St.Charles Mo on 10/16/2003 I have the invoice No, license ID and password. I just reinstalled windows and can't get them to activate, Thanks for your help, Jim

Yes I Have had them installed and activated by 321 studios and they worked great, now that I have reinstalled windows they will install fine but I can't get them to activate.

Ok. Do you have version 2.3.0.0? It was the last "new and improved" ver released. It's a stand alone program - not bundled with DvdXtreme or any other 321Studios programs. If Dvd X Show is still installed on your computer try to run it. The version number will be in the upper left hand of green startup screen.



I want to make sure we're on the same page. If you don't have 2.3 I'll send you a copy.

Hi, It's not still installed when my son reinstalled windows the program was removed, I have reinstalled it back but there isn't a start up window it just ask me to enter my License ID and password. I don't believe it is 2.3.0.0 the logo on the forum looks different mine has a picture of a lady holding a camera. thanks Girene

My desk top icom is green like the on on your reply, I just don't see any numbers. The picture with the lady is on the CD case.

That green DVDXSHOW 321Studios splash screen should appear every time you run the program no matter if it's registered or not. I installed v. 2.3.0.0 on my W98 bench machine last night and it shows the splash screen even though I can't get to the registration area because the video card will only output 24bit color. It takes 32bit True Color for Dvd X Show to work at all beyond the splash screen.

If you want a copy of 2.3.0.0. I'll be more than glad to send it to you tonight using YouSendIt http://www.yousendit.com/
X Show is a 37.4 Meg .exe single executable file. I'm rural on dialup & it'll take a few hours. I can start sending it to you later tonight and YouSendIt will notify you that a file to download awaits you when it finishes. It's a very easy & painless process or I wouldn't use it.

I will need a working email address of yours so Yousendt can notify you. I think YouSendIt will hold it for 48 hours...maybe less.
