Error reading disk help!

When i begin reading a dvd.. I get about 8 minutes in and i get an error saying "error reading sectors data 1/0" I dont know what this means, but it seems to me like its taking longer than it should to read too... like 55 minutes just to read which before it was more like 30.. I tried alot of the suggestions on this site like turning of spyware and norton antivirus during the process, but nothing seems to work
Let me know if you have any suggestions

It's all movies i've tried different ones.. recently it was flight plan

the error reading sectors are most likely caused by newer copy protection that xcopy can not break. xcopy has not been updated in 3 years so it will not break the newer copy protections.
