Help a newbie. I've had a 2+ year old copy of DVD X Copy Xpress that I think I received as a free (after rebate) promo when I bought TurboTax from CompUSA a couple of years ago. I obviously mailed in for the rebate since the codes were cut out of the box.
Anyway I never loaded the software and was (clueless) unaware of any legal/whatever issues 321 Studios had.
Bottom line - After 2 years I tried to load the software today to make copies of DVD movies and discovered that I cannot activate the software.
I googled and found this forum and website.
What are my options? Is there any way to activate this software and use it? I just installed headrest DVD player/lcd monitors in my truck for the kids to use in the back seat, and don't want to risk carting around original copies of the dvd movies. Thanks.

Thanks. I did follow that link, and I submitted a ticket. The link and form implied that this was for RE-activation, when my problem is attempting a FIRST TIME activation. On the form I put today's date as the "activation date" even though I have never activated the product. Hopefully I'll receive a response allowing me to do a first time activation. Thanks again.

I also purchased dvd xcopy from 321studios, but the site for activation says that they are not handling any activation request for 321studios customer only 321studiosoft customers where the links you provide take you. Can you provide feedback on this I filled out the international form to obtain activation, just do not want to run into problems. thanks.

international will activate 321 products and will not activate 321studiosoft customers as they are using a crack version

Thanks that is good to know because 321studiosoft sound very legitimate in there claims of being a reputable online company. I will not purchase thru them thanks for the FYI

I am having trouble activating my dvdxcopy too. I bought it from ebay for 5 dollars and it didn't come with an activation code it just came in some generic jewel case. No papers nothing. Please help me. I found this site and it is no help. The moderators keep saying see thread number something and I click the links to get even more lost.

if it did not come with a license and password, it can not be activated. You need them to even attempt to activate it.

Moderator-
The person who sold it to me told me it worked good and had no problems with it but had no use for it anymore. If it can't be activated how did he use it?

i do not know where he got it from,but you do need this info to activate..
USE THIS TO SUMMIT A TICKET TO HAVE THEM TO RESET YOUR ACTIVATIONS
YOU MUST SUMMIT YOUR Email, (the e-mail you used when you registered)Customer ID, License ID or Invoice No. along with your Password.
And proof of purchase like a receipt and a photo copy of the box and program cd disk.
And where you bought the program.
