I have seen the reference to doing a "clean install" several times here and I am a bit confused to actually what it is. I've have always thought a install was putting a program on your computer and a unistall was removing it. With that said when I see the term "clean install" is that telling me all I need to do is go to add/remove in my control panel and remove it there, or is it more involved than that, and if so what do I need to do?

To me ... a clean install is delete your partition(s), reformat your HD, and re-install your O/S.
