I just recently purchased Games X Copy and the CD in my box is version 1.0.8. I was hoping to still be able to grab the latest update files from 321 Studios, but much to my chagrin, their FTP site is down. Does anyone have another weblink to the latest update? (version 1.2.2 I think). Or better yet, might someone have the file available and be willing to send it to me. I have my current version installed and activated, and was merely hoping to play around with the latest version before the progarm ceases to exist.
Thanks..
Justin

Hey Justin,
Are you having problems installing the software? I am. For some reason the .exe file is not being found. I get the message that the install was successful but the icon on the desktop is not the Games X Copy icon. Any ideas?

No such luck, I can "register" the software with the license # and password, but the update links are dead for Games X Copy. Does anyone out there have the latest installer file which I can have?

Thanks to Flip, I managed to get my hands on the latest installer for Game X Copy. I also tried the activation from another PC option, and everything went smoothly. If anyone needs help obtaining the latest installers for DVD XCopy, X Copy Platinum, Games X Copy, or XCopy XPRESS, send me a PM and I'll gladly return the favor.

I have Games Xcopy, but I've never been able to make a successful copy of any of my games. Can you help me with the settings that I need to make a copy of a Xbox game? Thank you in advance!

Why are they unsuccessful?

You do know ... What ever program you use, whether it be with GamesXCopy or another one, you'll need to have a mod chip to play the backups. Does you XBox have a mod chip?

Hello everyone,
I got the same issue as Justin. I purchased Games X Copy (1.0.8, activated) and would like to update to the latest version, but the downloading site in the 321 Studio has been terminated. I have looked around all over the internet and ended up here. Would anyone please give me the latest version? Thank you.

jp96797..
I can't help you with your XBOX copying ambitions, as I don't personally own an XBOX, but as for your wanting a good deal on a 160GB HDD; check out your local CompUSA store, or www.compusa.com. They have a Seagate 160GB 7200rpm 8MB cache drive for $59 after rebate. I picked up one of these drives to mod my 40HR TIVO. Hope this info helps.
