I successfully burned image files of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic game on to CD. When I try to use the backup copy of the Play Disk to play this game I get this message "Please insert the original disk instead of a backup. See www.securom.com/copy.
Is there any way to burn the play disk image file on to a CD and have it work like the original?
Have tried to run the image file on the virtual drive as well and securom recognizes the V drive and won't play it as well.
Any ideas?

No idea; I've tried different settings for creating a backup. I was going to try the virtual drive, but since you say that it's unsuccessful, I'm not going to bother.
I hope there's a way to get it to work.
It is already over 90 days since last post to this thread, you're not allowed to post here anymore.
