First two that I tried backing up to CDR did not work.

I've tried just about every copy setting permutation that I can think of -- direct copy, image copy, slowest read/write speeds from each CD/DVD drive, yada yada yada ...
I'm using Ritek 80min CDRs (Inkjet Printable -- i.e., no logo).
Sony DVD RW DRU 500A
PINEER DVD-ROM DVD-106
P4 3GHz based machine
1GB RAM
XP Pro
...
My test is to re-install the game from scratch using the backup copy. But the games fail to play.
Is there any hope?
