Before I buy. I noticed it says only pc games can be backed up. Is there a way to copy my xbox games? I have my xbox modded to I can play them.

Re X-Box -- The program creates .xmf file images only 13.6 MB (14,319,616 bytes)in size. This is the intro DVD section of X-Box only.
Anyone who knows how to copy X-Box, please let us know.

What is the unofficial answer. Is there a way to tweak the software to do that?

There are 3 ways of playing "backed up" xbox games. One way is to have it modded so the xbox can execute non microsoft authorized codes. Meaning games that have the copy protection decrypted. Second way is to get the bios on the xbox itself reflashed "TSOP". Basically reprogramming the bios. Finally, the 3rd way which might interest you, is to do the game swapping technique. Meaning use a game specifically (007, mech assualt) to boot then quickly swap the real game with the backed up one. Hope this helps

Well, that is what I am trying to learn. What software will allow me to backup my games on a DVD-R. There is a hard way to copy games which requires modding your xbox. You have to mod the xbox and install a hard drive in it. Then rip the games directly to the xbox and finally ftp the files of the game to your pc and make a xbox iso and burn to a disk. I know this is very complicated. The problem I think is that the pc natively can not read the files of the xbox games. Is there any xbox drive emulator that you install on the computer? That way you can just burn the game like a computer game.

I tried looking for info on this program by doing a google/yahoo seach and I tried looking in all the big message boards about xbox. Nobody knows anything about this program. Can you give us the exact name of this program and which company or website created it? I'm sure there should be an "about" tab somewhere on the program. I'm sure if the program does what you say then the creator would want some sort of credit. So let us know.

Hey guys,
I'm new to this site and to the world of copying CD's, DVD's, etc. Anyways, I'm looking to hack my XBox and copy games as well. I've been reading about a program called DVD Wizard Pro. It seems to be the only software that can copy XBox games to DVD. Their site says you can download it for about $40 U-S. I wanna get a copy of this as I'm about to get a mod chip for my XBox.
Cheers,
Kale

First of all, as you might already know you can not play backed up games without a mod chip installed. Secondly, you migh consider putting in a bigger hard drive and copy the games directly to the hard drive. Go to xbox scene's site. Finally, you don't need that software to copy games. You can down download free tools that will do that for free. Just look for xbox iso tools. At this point what you need to do is mod your xbox, get a copy of xbox is making tool. Learn how to network the xbox with your pc. Then ftp the game files to your ocmputer. Create an xbox is and then just burn the iso to a disk. I what I am trying to do is find a emulator that will emulate the xbox drive on my computer so I can just stick the games in my pc and make back ups. Have not figured it out yet.

Shakim,
Thanks for your write. I don't wanna buy a new hard drive for the XBox because I already spent the money to buy a DVD writer. I just want to copy the games onto a DVD.
Again, I am not a tech guy and have never even heard of an XBox ISO. What is that? I've already got DVD Wizard Pro -- do you know how I can use to copy games?
Thanks,
Kale

Well, I know little about DVD Wizard. But it sound to good to me true. Because for it to work you computer must recognize the xbox disk. Regular dvd-r or dvd_r drives can't understand xbox files. So how can it copy them. If there is a trial version I'll download it and try. As for iso makers. Well they are software tools that take the files needed to create the game a create a image of the exact layout of the content of the xbox games for the xbox to understand. Basically creating a mirror image of the game. Then you take that image and burn it to a disk using any burning software. Checkout this link.
to tell you the true no software can and will at the moment copy xbox or ps2 my brother was just joking with you people

Hey guys,
I picked up a copy of DVD Wizard Pro off of Bearshare. I grabbed one that is already registered. Everything is working fine with it, however in the tutorial nowhere does it talk about games, just DVD, VHS, etc, etc.
I know it is possible to burn XBox games; I know of people who do this and charge people $5 a game. Shakim, I got your info about ISO and think I understand.
If you can, grab yourself a copy of DVD Wizard Pro off of BearShare or KAZAA or someother site and see if it works.
