I apologize in advance if this has already been discussed but I want to ask this question: If a disk does not have any errors on it (i.e. fresh out of the box), will the program recognize the disk? I tried to use DVDXRescue to back up S.W.A.T. and Underworld just this week (I found the file size too big to use with DVDXPlatinum, even with the compression) only to not have it recognize either disk. It recognized Escape From New York (an older disk) right after that, but am now wondering, "WTF??" Help....
Thanks.

I have hd the same problem, sort of. Mine just has a read error about 45% in to the read process. Not sure what the problem is.

I have that problem with "The Man Who Knew Too Much" (1934). Rescue identifies the files on the disk, but never prompts or allows me to press the RESCUE button - it just shows an hourglass whenever the cursor is over the Rescue window. I have to shut it down with Task Manager. But it works on other problem disks.
