I have a p4 2.4 ghz pentium computer and I just bought this program 2 days ago. I thought it would be great to use to transfer home movies from camera to dvd - it sounds like the perfect program.

WRONG ANSWER - especially if you have an ATI video card. I am using the ATI All in wonder 9700 pro and this program just does NOT work with it at all. You try to capture video with it and you get an error and it just stops. I spent $50.00 + tax on this program and I can't do anything with it and since I bought it at Best Buy - I can't even return it since it has been opened.

After I discover this error, I call the Tech Support # hoping to get some help with the problem. After waiting on hold for approximately 30 minutes - I am told that yes they are aware of this 'problem' and have been working on it for months to fix it. They are still not sure what is causing it and there is no eta on a fix. It could still be months from now potentially, if ever. I asked if I could get my money back and the tech rep said no, since I bought it from Best Buy there is nothing they can do. I asked again what I could do to work around the problem until they fix it and he informs me that I can capture video using the Windows program or the one that came with my video card.

Either way you look at - this program is a piece of crap until it works for all video cards.

IF YOU HAVE AN ATI VIDEO CARD DO NOT BUY THIS PROGRAM. I wish I had checked these forums prior to purchasing the program, but I believed in 321 studios based on my past use of DVD X-Copy Xpress. Now I have a program that I can't even use with out having to do a work around and it ends up taking longer and the quality is not nearly as good.

They should not have released this program with out further testing - I feel like I am in a beta test of the software and we are discovering problems for them to fix only to get in to this test you had to buy the software up front with no guarantee on when it would be finished so you can actually use it.

I returned this pos program to Best Buy today and convinced the manager what a terrible program it is. I asked him to even pull it from the shelf due to the problems it has and the unreliability of the program. The program outright lies if you can't do everything that it says or advertises. Until they fix the ATI video card problem - they shouldn't be selling copies of it in my opinion. I expect problems like this from a program being developed or in the beta / alpha stage - not in the stage when it is released to the public.

Steer clear of this program and save your money if you are thinking about purchasing it. :(
