Orgazmo,
That is the right version.
The taskbar icon was left to say "Alpha" by mistake.

This has now been fixed.

If you downloaded the software from our web server anytime on Monday after 2:00PM, then you have the right version.

I was a Beta tester. I tested movies that gave me problems in the past. They for the most part , gave me problems when I used Xpress.

For example : Deep Space 9 Season 2 disc 7 with DXC 1.52. I can not change the split point and the first disc is 300 mb`s too large and will not burn. With Xpress , the read gets to 5 seconds and then Xpress locks up. Needless to say I can not make a copy.

Band of Brothers Disc 2; With DXC I flat out could not make a copy. With Xpress near the end of the read Xpress froze, then cleared and I reported to DXC that I had sucessfully burned a disc . Well it turns out there is only the first episode on the disc the second is MIA.

Stargate SG1 Pilot & Episodes 1 & 2 ; With DXC`s 1.52 default settings , Disc 1 is 8 Gb`s and will not burn. I have to change the split to before ch. 1 and then DXC says disc 1 will be 500 mb`s and disc 2 is 4 gb`s . Each disc burns to 4 gb`s and then both play back perfectly. With Xpress as soon as I put the disc in and it starts to read , Xpress locks up.

I have upgraded from the Beta to v 2.0.0 .

In between these discs I have without rebooting , sucessfully backed up Dr Who discs. but like I said before , I did not have any problems backing them up with 1.52 so I did not expect any problems with Xpress. I also backed up a few more movies with Xpress sucessfully.

Bottom line for me is this ; Movies & Episodics that worked in DXC 1.52 will work in Xpress. Stuff that gave me problems in DXC 1.52 continue to give me problems in Xpress.

Hi, You might say my previous post was the bad news .

This post is the good news.

The discs that I burned looked great on my 36 inch set. I lent a couple of sets of originals and copies to a friend who has a 57 inch HDTV so he could compare the copy to the original. He said he could not tell them apart . As a matter of fact he said he had to pop out the disc a few times because he could not remember what disc was in , and he could not tell by looking at the screen ,which one was in his player.

The other good news is that while DXC 1.52 may take me around an Hour to make a 2 disc backup, Xpress will only take 30 minutes to make a 1 disc backup that looks just as good as the 2 disc set.

All in All, DXC 1.52 and Xpress still have a ways to go .... But they keep on getting better and better . Keep up the good work.

321_Q/A,

Tried LOTR (R2) again this time using a Verbatim DVD-R on the Pioneer AO5.

No problem at all runs perfect on Philips 895, PC, and happy to say the XBox, so maybe the XBox does not like the Pioneer DVD-RW disk.

I can feel another test coming on!!

Formally known as Lawman, but due to unforseen circumstances, have had to set up a new account,
Have asked for my old account to be re-activated!! - who knows?

No problems downloading Express!

Backed up two movies (Jerry MaGuire and Back To The Future) and both went without a hitch.

As a side note - I was able to back up to a DVD+RW, which I could not do with DXC!

Whooo Hoooo!!!!!!!

DVD X Copy Xpress is absolutely, totally, Most, Awesome piece of utility ( Must have Software) I have ever ( Until now ) had the distinct absolute pleasure to USE!

I have only one small suggestion: Create an option to read and burn DVD simultaneously to shorten the back up time further. (For those of us who are fortunate enough to have both a dvd-rom reader and burner on the same system.

The entire 321 crew has out done themselves once again. This is an absolute must have for the bargain basement price of $49.99 for NEW customers after rebate!!! Buy it, you'll love it! Bet on it! No risk guarantee (as usual)!!!

WOW WOW WOW! I'm sure platinum will absolutely 100% blow my socks OFF!

Pj

One Happy User, I've been using the product since it first arived. It's come a long way. Patiently waiting for Platinum! Cheers to Mr. Moore, 321 & fairuse

When the website attempts to verify my login ID/password I go to a 'this page not found' error. How can I fix this?

Thanks.

I just recorded 3 movies (Mallrats, Star Wars-attack of the Clones and Pulp Fiction) without trouble. Tied to record Lord of the Rings and had the following error messages "Error Reading Movie - Title Set!" and "Error occurred Reading Sectors". The movie read progressed only to 58% before the errors popped up.

randany11: I had that problem with DXCE also but it seems ths disc was bad. DXC and DVD Depritor both had reading problems and error out. You can try cleaning the disc and check if any other program you have can ripp it.
