Ability to Identify menu Titlesets

I would be nice to be able to flag which titlesets contain the menu for the DVD. That way when using advanced mode you can be sure to include the titleset that actually contains the menu.

I don't think there's a way to do that. You can Preview title sets and see which one loads the menu. But, sometimes, the DVD manufacturer inserts the menu video at the beginning of the movie itself, in terms of DVD files, or after it. Or mixed in with the extras, or...


Sadly, there is basically no standardization for how a DVD can be internally crafted. Just a few criteria that must be met for the disc itself to physically pass. It is easier if the menu is a separate video stream, of course, but, by the same token, tossing it in with another video stream makes it more difficult to copy. So, another reason why they do it. :)
