“You can use DVD neXt COPY to make a backup copy of personally authored DVDs
or non protected movies. Many commercial movies are protected. Not all
movies are protected. Unfortunately, current interpretation of laws in some
countries, including the US, prohibits distribution of software that has the
ability to copy commercial movies. In order to backup DVD movies which are
protected, an additional file is required.
May people live outside the United States, and the laws in other countries
are not the same as those in the U.S. If you live in a country where you are
allowed to freely use available DVD software you can download this plugin
and use it for purposes permitted in your country.
If you live in the United States, please understand that the Digital
Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) passed in 1998 does not expressly prohibit
consumers from making backup copies of digital works - only the sale &
distribution of tools that circumvent copy prevention technologies.
DVD neXt COPY - Update Information (Please make sure to choose the product you own)
Here you can find information on DVD neXt COPY updates and release notes for each update. Please bookmark this page for future reference.
Please follow these instructions to install any new versions of DVD neXt COPY.
1. First make sure to close down DVD neXt COPY and ensure that it is not running on your task bar.
2. Then uninstall any and all versions of DVD neXt COPY currently on your computer. (When prompted to delete license information select NO) NOTE: If you are installing the PRO PLUGIN (skip step #2). DO NOT UNINSTALL THE STANDARD VERSION. Just install the Pro Plugin ontop of your DVD neXt COPY Standard installation. You will also need to insert your PRO Plugin serial number in order to activate.
3. Now reboot your computer.
4. Next download and install the latest version of DVD neXt COPY that you own below and reboot your computer again. Your all set, enjoy!

If you choose to use another 3 party decrypter other than Machinist2.dll (which is the programs recommended free decrypter )...it is then advisable to completely remove Machinist2.dll ( if you have it installed )from your system as it is always running in the background and cannot be turned off . A number of users are choosing to use SLYSOFT's ANYDVD instead which is free to try for 21 days but must be purchased after that and is completly compatible. In this case DVDneXtCopy's compatibility mode must be selected in order for it to work...a warning flag will then pop up

Third Party Plugins:
The movie you are trying to copy is encrypted. DVD neXt COPY can copy personally authored DVDs or movies which are not encrypted. If you wish to copy a movie which is encrypted, you'll also need to install a third party decrypter like “DVD43” or the “machinist2.dll” to unlock the DVD. "DVD43" and the “machinist2.dll” are free programs that operate in the background and decrypt the DVD while you copy. "DVD43" and the “machinist2.dll” are available for free on the internet and can be located using a search engine like Google.com using search terms like "dvd43 beta news" or "dvd43 software digest" or and “machinist2”.The laws in some countries prohibit the sale and distribution of software that decrypts, so we cannot integrate decryption capabilities in our software. Decrypting programs are developed by independent third parties and are not distributed by or affiliated with DVD neXt COPY.
