I bought DVD X Copy not too long ago. It was a great program but had it share of problems. I got a free upgrade to Xpress and it did a great job. But it could not episodic discs so I was very happy when Platium was announced. I just bought it and the compression works great, but I can't help but feel lik ethey took a step backwards in many ways. The original DVD X Copny let you skip disc one which was great if you had a problem buring the second disc. and also Platinum has no way to have the DVD burn automatically. I have a DVD reader and writer and both drives work, but I must come back and hit burn. It is silly to not be able to burn if a blank disc is in. It seems like such very basic features were forgoten here. I hope this is fixed in a future release.

We have been told that PLATINUM is a work in progress and that there are many more things to be added and several that still need fixing. They will come in future versions we have been assured. Just need to hang in there and keep checking back for updates.
