I would like to congratulate 321 Studios on a great product. I have used many similar products, but none have the fabulous pan and zoom features. I would like to offer a few suggestions for improvement of the product.
1. A keyboard shortcut for adding pictures and other repetitive tasks. Call me lazy, but I get tired of right-clicking and going all the way up the menu and over to another menu. It would be much more efficient to click a thumbnail box and hit a key or two to select my photo.
2. When selecting pictures to add, a preview would be great. I lose my place when adding pictures and either skip one or repeat them and have to delete.
3. An indication of the name and/or path of a thumbnail image. This could be available in the right-click menu or appear when hovering the mouse over the thumbnail.
Again, great job! Keep it up.

They are working on a few things for Show, i am not sure what all of them are, but from what I understand more audio tracks are just one of them.
Thanks for the liberty Mr.Roberts, thanks for the liberty.

Some of my suggestions (albeit, some are repeats...just included here to emphasize demand).
1. Ablity to include narration: I, too, thought it a bit deceiving that this was stated on the box, but not included.
2. Ability to load an entire file of photographs, rather than one at a time.
3. Ability to make global changes to all pictures (ie. color adjustment) rather than individually.
4. Ability to add title pages, text...Stric 9 mentioned on another post to purchase X Maker for this. My thoughts on this is, if one touts a program as a "slide show" maker, then this feature (an obvious one to me anyway) should be included. One should not have to buy another program to perform this.
5. Ability to add more than one track of background music. The manual states using another program to splice together tracks of music to make one file.
6. A minor thing...remove the "321" Logo/hotbutton in the middle of the screen and bring the 2 work screens closer together. We can always enter 321 Website via the menu bar.
2 questions...can I burn more than one slide show onto a DVD and have them play one after another? If not, I would like to do this.
Can I burn onto a CDR?
That said...I love the zoom and pan abiity. This was the reason why I bought this program. I don't believe any slide program out there does this. I love it so much, I was a bit zealous with it on my 1st project...akin to "too many fonts" in one document...so, one must use it sparingly). Although one cannot quite, yet create a Civil War documentary ala Ken Burns (as the packaging states), perhaps with the upgrades (hint, hint) one can come close. It is definitely easy to use. Keep up the good work and I look forward to the upgrades.

This is what I was suggesting that you use XMaker for, not for title pages or text. The only drawback to XMaker at the moment is that each slideshow will have to be accessed via the menu. They will not play back to back.
I am hoping for an upgrade...

You can drag and drop multiple photos or an entire file into your slideshow. It is helpful to name the photos in the order you want them to appear in the slideshow. I think you can also select multiple images using the ctrl key when you do the "add pictures" thing. I like the drag and drop, but would still like a keyboard shortcut.
I agree with all the additional suggestions. This product has the potential to be an exceptional product.

sambqt,
How were you able to drag and drop? As far as I can see, each picture has to be added separately. I tried dragging and dropping a file folder, and I got this error message:
There was an error adding one or more pictures to your project.
new: Just tried the Ctrl. thing and it works. You can add more than one pic by holding down Ctrl.

You can't drag and drop an entire folder, but you can open the folder, select all, then drag and drop.
Good luck!

I read on the box that the program had the ability to add narration and cannot find it. Does anyone know how to add narration?

I believe that you must use a third-party software to narrate, then add the file as the sound on DVD X Show. If not, I wish I knew how. I think this is one of the things they are working on. Currently, you can add a sound file and loop it, but only one file. It must be edited within third-party software if you want more than one song file, narration, etc.. Fortunately, there are numerous freeware and free trial software available to use for this purpose.
I'm sure they will add this feature soon. It's almost a neccessity, in my opinion. I hope this is the first addition to an update in the very near future. Additionally, I would like to see the ability to have multiple slideshows on the same dvd without using Maker. Competitors do it, so I think it will probably happen soon.
