Split mode not working properly

Why can't I use the split mode while in advanced in Platinum 3.1.1?

Here's what happens. I'm trying to copy my DVD's un-compressed so I have to use Split mode. First the program copies the DVD, next it will burn the first DVD. (this is where the program messes up) Instead of getting a prompt to instert a blank disk for the second of the 2 DVD's I'm prompted to insert a DVD movie or click browse for a movie, (like you get when you first start the program). I've tried everything I've found on this board including a fresh reboot of the program with my Norton totally disabled. and nothing works. Still the same prompt after disk one

Could someone please help.
Mike

when your prompted to put in movie after burning the first disk it is asking for the same movie disk as before. it has to read it a second time to make the second disk

Thanks for the quick response. Coincedently, I just found the same answer on another post and I'm currently trying it out.
