Howdy all. I recently purchased DVD X Show program. I'm liking it so far, except one problem: It seems to cut off my pictures.

When viewing on my home DVD player, the pictures, more often the vertical pictures, will be cut off. We're running it off of a big screen (52") TV, but I don't think that would be an issue.

Is there a setting or something I have set wrong? I can't make use this program if the pictures get cropped like they are now.

Thanks

If you look at the top of the program, there are a list of options. Look under the "Picture" option. If you click "Frame for Aspect" in the dropdown menu, this will allow the entire picture to be in view on your slideshow during playback.

The only drawback to this is that there will be areas of black on both sides of the photo for your vertical photos.

That worked, thanks.

But... next prob. I've got sets of 400 images plus.. and it will only let me do them one at a time.

Only the one that is highlighted in red will change, even if I select them all.

Any way around this? I'd hate to have to send it on back to 321.

Well, that is a problem that I hope 321 studios will fix. As far as I can see for now, there is no way to load a directory of pictures into the slideshow. They will have to be added individually.

But please remember this. 321 is always updating and upgrading their products. E-mail them ask for this feature to be inculded in the next or future update. They are very open to suggestions.

You can drag and drop multiple images into a slideshow.
Life is but a game. Unfortunately it comes without instructions.

Freakguy,

Unfournately that is a common problem in Xshow.
You have the ability to select multiple pictures, however changes you make only apply to the first one. I reported that problem a few weeks ago to 321_QA.

I know that because I created a slide show with 330 pictures & wanted to set the fade in, dispaly & fade out times for all of them to a higher value than the deafult. Selecting them all didn't work, I had to do them one at a time, it took forever.

Hopefully it will be adressed in the next update, whenever that is.
