I've been reading alot of posts about Nero being on the same computer that Platinum is loaded on. After reading the many posts I decided to strip down my computer so it basically just runs Platinum and nothing else. Is this the best thing to do? Is it recommended to not have Nero installed? Please advise, thank you.

that varies from system to system. Nero co exist on my system with platinum fine. have heard some say it does not for them. if you dont need nero on the system and get good burns with platinum you might be better off the way your system is now for time being.
