What is dvdxcopy Platinum?

masterpp Newbie 10 Sep 2003 12:16 AM	I'm thinking of getting Platinum but dunno what exactly it is... Can anyone explain to me in easy words? I don't know how does Platinum work? Does it copy 100% quality just like DVDXCopy? or does it have compression like DVDXCopy Express? I see that Platinum can copy all audios & subtitles while Express can only have one each. Does this mean there will be huge compression for Platinum than Express since platinum can take all. http://www.dvdxcopy.com/products_dxcp.asp another question, why i don't see any updating of DVDXCopy and this isn't on the first page except dvdxcopy Gold?
security Senior Member 10 Sep 2003 8:31 AM	MASTERPP: yes it has 100% quality (it may need two discs) want it on one disc? switch to compression dont want the trailers and previews in 100% quality? just compress them all the way and leave more room for the movie. there is also a simple mode with two settings one lets you pick the one main title and one audio track the other lets you copy the entire disc (with compression if needed) more features are on the way! the best place for plat info is @ http://dvdxcopy.afterdawn.com/forum_view.cfm/66 please ask you platinum questions there
