321, could you all please add the same level of product support for the Roxio (v6 -- Platinum Ed.) burn engine that you all provide for Nero's external engine?

[I have upgraded from DXC 2.x to v3.0.2 (Gold DVD), and both versions offer the option to use Nero instead of the bundled Gearworks engine.]

If this is not a typo and you are refering to xpress 2.x to 3.02 and you are using nero with it you can use any engine the same way. The bundled engine with them is vso pcoufin not gear. Dxc still uses gear in 1.5.2(latest)as default with option to use nero if one wants.

I would still like to see option to use any as external engine that one wants. But hey its not my company but Roberts and I accept whatever he likes in it. I personaly love copytodvd by vso which is basicly the same engine as what is in xpress.

I notticed just now in another thread you are refering to gold. Does xpress part of gold let you use nero as external engine if you want to.

No, I meant DXC... which offers a choice to use the Gearworks burn engine or an external one (i.e., Nero -- full version). [That's what DXC's Advanced Options dialog box says during the backup process... Xpress doesn't offer a choice, so far's I can see.]

I was just putting in my 2-cent request that this line of products also add support for the other major/popular burn engine out there... namely, Roxio.

Basically, I don't have Nero, but I do have Roxio 6 Platinum; hence, my original product suggestion/enhancement-request.
