Hi all. I am looking to replace my favorite software DVDxCopyPlatinum. I think that NextCopy is based on the same technology that made Xcopy so great (in my opinion anyway). I'm anxious to hear from people who have TRIED NextCopy! I really want to know about the QUALITY of the results, you know?

I'd love to know what Ireland thinks, I know he's tested it. I know he prefers the "one, two punch" of other programs, but how does the quality of the backups compare with your faves? I'm really looking forward to some feedback...thanks!

the quality of dvdnextcopy is very good, but i have a problem with the activation they use as its the same as dvdxcopy..if there company goes busts like 321 studios did..there will not be any more activations to activate the program
plus ye only get a 3-day trial..

this program does a great job and the quality is great..,anydvd and clonedvd and ye get a 21 day trial. to test the program.
thats all i use..and very happy with the programs there is not a movie i can not copy..

when ye buy the program ye are sent a key and does not use the internet for activations.
save the keys to a floppy or cdrw and ye can activate the program with out the internet until the cows come home.

cheers

Thanks for the quick response, Ireland. I already have Nero recode and have tried both of the programs you mentioned. I read a couple reviews online where people compared the results of the different progs and Nero and "your combo" supposedly didn't produce quality results (compared to some others that they tested). I just miss my DVDxCopyPlatinum and was hoping against hope that maybe this program (DVDneXtcopy)would be like it, you know?

So you're really satisfied with the quality of the 2 programs you use? How would you rate the quality of the result (playback) as compared to DVDneXtcopy? As far as QUALITY, are there other progs you recommend as well? Thanks for your help!

as i see it clonedvd comes out on top,per 1000's of reports to me...for quality..and DVDFab Platinum 2nd the one that has the best quality is dvdxcopy platinum rf v5.0.0.13 which is not sold any more...used with anydvd.

dvdnextcopy can be used with anydvd
If you choose to use another 3 party decrypter other than Machinist2.dll (which is the programs recommended free decrypter )...it is then advisable to completely remove Machinist2.dll ( if you have it installed )from your system as it is always running in the background and cannot be turned off . A number of users are choosing to use SLYSOFT's ANYDVD instead which is free to try for 21 days but must be purchased after that and is completly compatible. In this case DVDneXtCopy's compatibility mode must be selected in order for it to work...a warning flag will then pop up

the free stuff is also very good
DVDShrink,Decrypter and Imgburn with using anydvd as the ripper
