i am currently using dxcx 2.5.2 which works great. i am planning to download version 3.2.
if i unstall 2.5.2 and don't have a "exe" file to install it back (in case dxcx 3.2 does not work with my burner)...where can i download old version 2.5.2 from?...it is not posted under support.

hey thanks i downloaded the older versions i can't get the new version to burn dvds i updated eveything and all it dose is reads disc and when it go's to burn the movie the screen turns white and i have to control delete key and end task the program what casue it i down loaded the force aspi drivers and rebooted my system new firmware for the writer hp200i writer new drivers and all the updates i can find i got a dell 1.0 gig 80 gig hard drive 256 memory windows me generic dvd player nec and a hp 200i writer

What version of Express do you want to use?
What is your Operating System?
HP200i should be firmware 1.51
XP should have Service Pack 1
Windows 2000 Service Pack 4
Device manager should have a VSO Device after install of Express.
Program Files/321 Studios/Express/PCSetup Icon/Pattin Cauffin/HP 200i should be listed

i just finshed running express 3.02 version and i unintalled it because it did it again that makes 9 times that i ran that program i have the right firmware for the writer 1.51 service packs for windows me i'm going to try express 2.5.2 tomorrow i've used that and i know it worked its just i bought 2.5.2 version in may i just upgraded a month ago and ran that version once since then and now it will not work at what about dvd decrypter would that cause it to get a white screen thats in my system and that works great the vso device is not in the device manager i looked for that and the dvd writer is not listed in the drive selection that dose not work at all they said if it dose not do anything then its there working fine

Find a file named PcSetup.exe in the Express folder and run it.
i was just wondering am i suppose to use the dvd writer for both and reading dvd and buring the dvd too

If you have a DVDROM use this for the Read and the DVDRW for the burn.If you don't have the DVDROM then yes use the DVDRW for both.

i used the dvdrom all the time and when it came time to burn then thats when all the problem happen now just 10 mins ago i click on the software and my dvdrw tray opend and i used that that is a first time that has happend i've always used the dvdrom drive to read i use dvd decrpyter alot too for other dvds i burn and that i have no problems with i'll let you know toolman what happens its still reading i do notice that its reading the same disc i used yesterday in half the time with 2.5.2 then 3.0.2 which took 58 mins to read

If you are doing the read&write with the pc while you are sending your last post you will give yourself problems.Everything should be disabled while using the program.

everything was diable and it worked to it burned the dvd whole thing chapters and all my internet secruity was disable along with norton aintvirus and i was repleying when it was reading i played it back on the pc dvd writer and it worked i'm goin to try 3.0.
0 version and see what it dose

The only advantage 3.0.0 has over 2.5.2 is you can get the menu and extras.If you do udpdate,uninstall previous install from ADD/Remove,go to Program Files and make sure Express Folder is deleted.Reboot.Install 3.0.0 and repeat the same procedure as the 2.5.2 install.

what if i just installed 3.0.2 with the other version in there will it work still cause its reading only now 3.0.1 won't work i get the kernal error and it won't come up on screen and i keep getting the errors one other thing i burned a concert in dts on the last burn and it worked but i did'nt get it dts only dolby digital and no menues which i knew i would not get the menues with that software plus the 3.0.2 version is a little slower i notice reading takes 40 mins verses 25 min with 2.5.2 if this don't work then i'll uninstall the other version like you said in your post toolman

it did'nt work it crashed when it went to burn the disc i got the white screen again so i uninstalled everything and reinstalled 3.0.2 i'm still useing just the dvd writer for reading and burning now. too see what happens everything is diable

no its not the beatles dvd at all it was heart alive in seattle i used the 3.0.2 version for another dvd and it did'nt burn it read the dvd but not burn it

The concert is probably in a Eposodic format and you would have to use the Entire Disk feature

so duel layer like that heart dvd could of been eposodic formate i also tryed it with another one elo zoom concert and it did the same thing and there both from image entertament and what is eposodic formate i have not tryed anything eles i will try a diffrent one

i got a movie i'm doing after i get done here but i uninstalled everything all versions and now i'm going to try 3.02 version when i installed the other versions they all crashed at start up but now when i click on it it worked and let see what happens i emailed tech support about this and why dose the trail version work and not the 3.0.2version or other versions for that matter is actavation got anything to do with it cause i don't get no screen saying anything about actavation

well it crashed right when i click burn disc and i closed that box and then nothing it never burned the disc and thats it 321 studios will be hearing from me for a refund i've done everything and still it will not work so thats that
