When using express, a movie of 9,4 GB has to fit on 1 dvdr of 4,7 GB. I know that picture quality is reduced, but my question is: Does the 5.1 Dolby Digital or DTS stay original or is that also reduced?

Neither DXC nor DXCX compress the audio at all. Only the video is compressed.

Hi,
Ok, so the sound is not compressed. That was already clear to me.
But, suppose I have 2 english audio tracks on a DVD: a DD5.1 and a DTS5.1 .
Which of these two does Xpress copy, since I can only choose between languages and not between the type of audio (DTS5.1 or DD5.1 or DD2.1....)

teigetje,
In Express using the movie only option, select the "ask me" option. The next screen then will give you the option to choose.
Am I understanding you correctly?

Jep, you understood. That's what I wanted to know.
Thanks a lot :-)
