the one i use is clonedvd and anydvd,as my main back up program..
so far all programs are having a problem doing total disk of saw-3 and open season..
some like clonedvd and dvdfab can rip and burn and can only do the movie only
dvdnextcopy from what i hear can not do those movies.

i am new to copying movies and i am sorry if i am being a pain in the butt, just wanted to ask a couple more questions(i don't want to spend $70 and not be happy)so what i understood from your last reply is dvdnextcopy is not as good as clone and fab? does clone and fab update their software to get past hard to copy movies? thanks again for your time and help rich

right now all are having problem copying the two movies i posted above
I am recording Saw III the whole disc as we speak. So far it's working but very slowly. Using AnyDVD and CloneDVD 6113, and 2903 respectively. It's about half done and has taken 17 min so far to burn files to hard drive.
Update..IT WORKED !!

if ye use or get dvdnextcopy use anydvd as the ripper and update to to the new version anydvd 6113..to do the movie saw-3.............
If you choose to use another 3 party decrypter other than Machinist2.dll (which is the programs recommended free decrypter )...it is then advisable to completely remove Machinist2.dll ( if you have it installed )from your system as it is always running in the background and cannot be turned off . A number of users are choosing to use SLYSOFT's ANYDVD instead which is free to try for 21 days but must be purchased after that and is completly compatible. In this case DVDneXtCopy's compatibility mode must be selected in order for it to work...a warning flag will then pop up

Ireland, Somewhere you listed things you must remove from your computer to make good copies. I am presently using dvdxcopy and my last copy in the middle is all screwed up and even stops dead in the water. I am giong to puchase clonedvd, will it act the same way?? And could you list the things that hurt coping??
Thank you very much, maybe someday it will go well. Oh by the way you said for me to check the juice. I have penium 4, 200 GB and 196 GB available hard drive is that what you mean??
