Writing Error

When trying to copy a DVD, the "read" portion goes fine. The second it tries to "write" to the blank DVD, I get an error message that it can't do it. After some test, I now know that the info from the original disk is in the C:/DVD directory. If the program does not try to write to the blank disk, this directory has all the data. As soon as it tries to write, this directory is empty. Before this happened on my last try, I copied the folder elsewhere. Is there any way I can use the new folder to copy what's there to a DVD? If not, how do I get around the error?

Checkout this thread it has all the info you need
http://dvdxcopy.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/445353
See my post about the Patin Couffin driver version 1.37 .
I was able to backup All The Kings Men and alot of other new releases using all of the info in the thread above. If you continue to have problems after using the info I posted goto the Platinum folder and click on the Drive Select icon and select you burner from the dropdown menu.
Enjoy
