I've used the program for a few projects, but now it will go through the encode process and just before it reaches 100%, the window with "Unable to transcode project to MPEG2." appears. Any help is appreciated as my wife loves the program and wants to start using it more. I also need to port it to our laptop for easier use. Will I run into licensing problems with a server being or not being available for authentication?

I think This occurs as a result of upgrading to Windows Media Player 10 and/or applying XP Service Pack 2.
I get the same message on my desktop with the above installed, but do not get it on my laptop that does not have the above 2 installed. Not sure which one is the cause.

I'm using XP Pro with SP2 and Windows Media Player 10. Dvdxshow 2.3.0.0 works ok on all 3 machines here...one is an old W98SE box.
My prefernces in dvdxshow are NTSC with Mpeg Layer II. No parental limits, English, US and All Regions. Need 2.3.0.0?
