DCC,
Is this the only movie that has caused this?
Have others worked o.k ?
You can try the force aspi:
ftp://ftp.321studios.com/ASPI/ForceASPI.exe
Once you install the main ASPI file that you download, it will put a pink icon on your desktop. You will need to run that pink icon as well by double clicking on it

Thanks for your response, So far this is the only movie where I have gotten these type of error messages, I have seen others with other movies though. I already had the force aspi installed on my computer so I guess that can't be it :-( Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.
I just updated my firmware and I get the same error messages :-(

What version of DXC are you running?
Do you have or have you had EZCD creator installed? If you do uninstall it.
Make sure you have no packet writing software installed, also known as DLA.
Uninstall whatever version of DXC you have, reboot, reinstall DXC and run DVDXCopyInstaller.exe located in the installation folder.
If you don't get it running properly please post back.
Thanks,
Conrad

I am using version 1.52 and I just downgraded to 1.41. This seems to have fixed my problem, like they say if it aint broke don't fix it. As for your other suggestion, I actually uninstalled EZCD Creator when I upgraded the firmware to my burner and I still got the same error messages. Version 1.41 of DVD X Copy works just fine for me. :-) Thanks 2 both of you for your help.

DCC,
Do a search on your system for two files named:
Cdr4_2K.sys and: Cdralw2k.sys.
If you find them on your system and EZCD creator is not installed, delete them.
This Roxio program has known problems for not removing device drivers and undoing registry changes after you've uninstalled it.
If you go through this process remember to uninstall and reinstall DVDXCopy. Maybe even try 1.5.2 again.

DCC,
Try that procedure in the MS link, It won't hurt as long as you uninstall DXC and reinstall it after your done. Some people, after removing the upper and lower filters, just click on: DVDXCopyInstaller.exe to reset the upper and lower filters.
Installing a software player such as PowerDVD may also resolve that issue.
If those things don't work just stick to 1.4.1. That version worked very well for me.

Hey there, well you were right when u said ezcd creator had problems with DVD X Copy. I got the same eror again when I reinstalled it. Basically I had to remove both EZCD and DVD X copy and reinstall DVD X Copy again. Now 1.52 is not giving me the error message anymore. I think it has to do with an update i downloaded for ezcd creator.
