Hi Guys,
Ever since I installed xpress I have had
nothing but grief.I have un installed both
x-copy and xpress and
re-installed x copy and now it also won't work properly either.
Tried to rip Star Wars#1 and it said can't
archive text so I exited x-copy and a window popped just like the one that used to pop up when xpress was installed. It said:
End Program I clicked on it and it appeared
to be loading somethingand then another
window popped up saying :This program not responding etc. End Now or click close.
I closed it and attemped to shut off computer but it wouldn't shut off.And again the End Now window popped up and the computer can't be shut off. I tried to manually shut it off and no go.So I unplugged it and started it up again.upon starting up I got the same message that I used to get when xpress was installed which is 'checking file systemon C : one of your
discs needs to be checked for consistency".
NO problem shows up.
I have checked for consistency three times this morning as Conrad told me how on june 19 but this problem keeps on coming back.I just keep going in circles. And each time I this occurs I have to unplug the computer
because the END NOW window keeps popping up.
I really don't know what the heck I have done wrong.I thought uninstalling both items
would clean everything up,but it has just gotten worse because now even x-copy doesn't
work properly.
PLEASE any help will be appreciated.Just make it SIMPLE step by simple step .
Thank you
dvdS.L.S
P.S.I have spent the better part of two days trying to solve this.

dvdS.L.S,
That error usually means that the default Temp directory that DVDXCopy and Express uses either hasn't got enough room OR the default directory is set to just a drive letter. The default directory has to be a folder that exsists on a drive. An example would be a folder named C:\321 working folder or C:\DVDX Temp, etc.
You can't just select something like C:\.
Check that out and if you have enough room and the Temp folder is really a folder, post back.

Thank You Conrad,
After I made that last post,I tried one last time to uninstall and re-install x-copy.
It worked.I don't know what I did differently
but I don't care as long as it's working properly.
As for xpress,it will be a snowy day in hell
before I try to download that bug filled
pile of sh*%#% t.
Thank you for taking the time to help.
P.S.Iset my folder up in my E drive(60gig)
but I noticed that the x-copy download went to
my C drive .Will that be a problem at a later
date?

dvdS.L.S,
I'm glad you got it working!

I personally don't believe that Express is a "bug filled pile of sh*%#% t."

Some day when you're willing to try Express look me up. I'll try and help.

Regards,
Conrad
