If a burn a TEST copy using a R/W disk, and it checks out ok on my home theater. How can I restart the burn onto a -R. Do I have to Rip the orginal again? Isn't the ripped part still on my hard drive somewhere?

Yes you have to start over. When the disk finishes being burned the files are erased from the hard drive.

WELL IS THERE ANY WAY TO COPY THE RW DISC IN EZCD DISC COPY OR ANY OTHER DEVICE /PROGRAM?
HES NOT LOOKING TO HAVE TWO COPIES . HE JUST WANTS TO MAKE THE MOVIE PERMANENT ON ONE DISC AND GET THE RW DISC BLANK AGAIN TO RE USE

EVERY TIME I UPDATE I USE RW FOR THE FIRST FEW MOVIES AND HAVE TO REPEAT THE ENTIRE PROCCES TO PUT THEM ON R AFTER I WATCH THEM WITH OUT ERRORS

Yes, that is exactly what I was trying to do. Read the R/W to see I got what I wanted, and then burn the copy I want to keep going forward (but without having to go through the entire Read process again.

Then erase and reuse the R/W for the next one.

I have had issues with just burning the -R only to find out it did not work right.

GaryO and security,

xgasman is correct. This software is deliberately designed to make a backup of an original DVD only. There is no current way to make a backup copy of a backup copy using this software and I doubt that this possibility will ever exist. Any discussion regarding making a copy of a backup copy is forbidden in this forum.
