had to reinstall dvdxcopy and it will reload without not asking for
registration. the problem is when i hit start to read, the dvd goes
into error and when i hit control alt delete program says not
responding and i exit the program. i had it installed once but i
thought i had problems then so i uninstalled it then tried to
reinstall- nogo. i tried to clean registry with all related dvdxcopy
files and still nogo. i also have dvdxcopy express installed and works
ok.
yes i uninstalled express and tried dvdxcopy still nogo.

i feel there is some file stuck somewhere in the registry that i just
cant seem to find to allow this program to reinstall. can someone
please help if they can
thanks Bob

the driver is not loading property, uninstall xpress this way,-removie from add/remove,let registry alone, remove^("xpress folder")^,reboot.
install this way go to device mgr,vso devices uninstall patin couffin engin.(express driver)
next install xpress, when the driver installs xpress ask you to reboot, select no,finnish install,reboot...

add a file to c-drive name it something you can remember, direct your xpress temp files to that folder.

if useing xpress 2.0.1,try xpress-2.0,
better compatibly,,,here is the download site...

ireland - Seems like we forgot to add: remove 321 Studios folder from your Program Files folder, BEFORE reinstalling.

Dude, just remember if possible do a reformat to the hard drive. Reason is, there a ton of programs that conflict with Dvd x. like Quick time , kazza, Real Player or any program that has Spy Ware in it. Also another tip: check your Msconfig to see what other programs are running to conflict @ same time.remember the only thing that you need to run in your Msconfig is Sys Tray
