I know that their are several sites where you can get the front/back of the DVD case but I am looking for additional sites other than cccovers to get the cd/dvd cover that goes directly on the DVD. Do anyone have any suggestions?

Try this:

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00005JKVU/qid=1051310920/sr=2-1/102-1656653-2036949?v=glance&s=dvd

It is Amazon.com web site, but it allows you to view a large photo of each DVD cover art. You can then save it and print it for your back-ups. Works great, just type in the name of the movie in the dvd search and hit go, and then click on view larger photo.

You can also go to www.dvdempire.com or www.dvdplanet.com and get pictures for both the back and the front.

DVDcoverart.com, as 72morgan pointed out, is the place unless you just want lo rez fronts (Amazon). They charge a dime each. Many are custom creations, practically suitable for framing.

I have yet to see a site that has DVD disc art. If you print on your discs or print labels, it is easy enough to convert or even directly overlay the cover art onto a disc. It looks pretty good if you do it right. A lot of discs are crappy looking, so the cover imposed on the disc is bound to be nicer.

nickicap_,
As the name of the topic states, go to cdcovers.cc for dvd cover art.

The two best places I go to are:

www.dvdplanet.com

and

www.hitflix.com

(warning the latter site is an online rental store that has adult content in it. It may require membership to visit I'm not sure.)

Both sites have large image file of both front and back covers.

With all due respect, those covers are one step removed from garbage. Not even close to the wuality of DVDCoverart.com. BUT, BUT, I didn't realize anyone had disc art. A lot of it too is lousy, but some of it isn't bad.

DVD covers are almost as collectible as movie posters. Some are very nice, especially some custom ones. Check out DVDCoverArt.com and look at a few of the custom covers. Some people relace the ones that come on the DVDs too. There's some real fanatics with this stuff. I know people who have to have every cover color-keyed, and matching covers for sets like Star Trek, etc.

Some of the custom covers create a picture on the spines , that you can only see whe you have all the episodes/cases in order next to each other . Some of the people go out the way to make a really nice & " custom " cover.

They have the same low quality, unedited, low rez stuff as cdcovers.cc. The snappers aren't even convrted to fit keep cases. They're just scanned and uploaded.

I'm with ireland :) I use clip art and pics and mix & match & make custom covers most of the time, though I do download the ones that look great already (there are a few)
