Check out this DVD Player, Yamakawa DVD-218.
It sells for around $60.00 on the 'net.
It will play DVD, DVD-R. DVD-RW, VCD, SVCD, CD, CD-R, CD-RW, MP3 and almost anything esle that's round and plastic. It will play NTSC and PAL. It also can OUTPUT NTSC and PAL. It can be programmed for multi-region and has a universal power input for US or European countries. I just got mine and will play ALL copies done with DVDXC. It has Dolby 5.1, and Stereo audio, Componet video, coaxial video, composite, and S-Video. It seems a great deal to me.

Found it.
Seems like a good piece of equipment.
Thanks.

This is the first time I've heard of a stand alone
player that has firmware.
Is this something new?
