So after you get the torrent, and download the thing, and burned it to DVD, can u play it in an unmodded xbox?

No,
It is not possible to play a game which has been downloaded/burned/copied etc on an unmodded xbox.
It never has been, and it's improbable that anyone will develop a way to do so.

Hi everyone,
I havenīt ever backed up a xbox game, but I know backing up PC games and one of the most used tools is clone CD. I think there is a DVD version (Clone DVD) that I suppose works like Clone CD, i.e. creates perfect DVD copies. I have used clone CD to copy even scratched CD, the result is an exact copy of the original including the wrong tracks, so I think it could be possible to make a perfect copy of a xbox dvd game, what do you think? Has anyone tried Clone DVD for backing up a XBox game? could the copied DVD be played without the mod chip?
Thanks in advanced,
Flojiqui

Yes, as I stated before you need some sort of xbox emulator on the PC that can read the xbox games. No stand alone PC drive can read a xbox game. For us to copy xbox games the way audio cds are copied we need a way to read the disk on the pc. This might be possible with some sort of firmware.
hi this is for xbox_hack i was wondering if you could give me ur email so i can talk to an expert personally about getting mod chips and stuff i dont want to talk to newbs and people who will fu&* up my xbox so email me at

"There is a hard way to copy games which requires modding your xbox. You have to mod the xbox and install a hard drive in it"
ok the ONLY way to create backups of xbox games, is
1/ have a modded xbox (modchip or TSOP flash)
2/ use an alternative dashboard (evox is most popular) either copied to the hdd, or from dvd/cdrw
3/ connect to a PC with a crossover cable (direct connection) or a cat5 cable (router /hub)
4/ have a good ftp prog such as flashfxp
5/ disable "auto play" in evox settings
6/ setup the ip on xbox and pc
7/ connect cable to pc ethernet
8/ connect using flash fxp (your created ip, then username, pass are both xbox as default)
9/ drag over the files from the xbox dvd drive
10/ recreate them as xbox readable iso using CRAXTION or QWIX
11/ burn with nero, or stomp etc to dvd or xbox readable media (all xbox drives read different, samsung drive is best)
note: game will only work in a modded xbox
and WILL NOT work on xbox live, youll get banned using a backup game.
once you get into it, its really not hard at all
Ignorance isn't bliss.....It's just costly!

Hi there everybody, Im new to this of xbox hacking or whatever, I just wanted to know how to burn a game i just downloaded from suprnova.org. It came with a bunch of .r# files and i dont really know what to do with them. the title of the package i downloaded is Samurai_Warriors_USA_XBOX-CSiSO. I tried to make an ISO file out of all the files with the program xISO. After i made the ISO file i burned it with nero into a dvd-r. I tried playing it with my modded xbox but it simply didnt read anything. Please help me with this little problem I WANT TO LEARN!!!

You first need to download a program from the site you downloaded the game from that will take the packets you downloaded and put them together. Then you can make an xbox iso.

WTF!!! People??
Enough of the hack/cracking discussion. Any posts after this one that discusses that will be banned.
Now, I'm not sure if GamesXCopy will copy XBox games. I've heard it will, but I was under the impression GamesXCopy was for PC games.
There are better programs out there that can backup XBox, PS2, PC, etc .... Go to http://afterdawn.com There are dedicated forums on how to do this.

I think what he has done is flashed his xbox bios. TSOP. Instead of installing a chip he decided to just go ahead and whip if OEM bios out and install a 3rd party one. Basically with a chip you are able to install the 3rd party bios on the chip instead of the xbox. That way you can always go back to the orginal just buy turning the chip off. The chip way is way better and safer.
you can not have that in your bottom line its against the rules..please remove it...

I couldn't tell you how because that is illegal. But what you should do is search this forum for "TSOP bios flash" or better yet go to xbox-scene and look around there. There are lots of tutorials out there you just have to look a bit hard. Again it is very easy to do but you will void your warrenty and to some degree it is illegal. Just read around you will find it.

Hi guys,
Everybody keeps saying that PC's can't read xbox games! Well sorry but they can. Maybe windows explorer will not recognise a dvd but I use xxxxxxxxxx and through that it allows you to recognise an xbox game.
One thing I have noticed though is that the program doesn't seem to allow me to view an xbox dvd on XP home but XP pro works a treat! (maybe it is my DVD drive but I use a standard reader on my XP pro machine and I cant be bothered to switch them round, I just send the files over my LAN to my XP home machine with my DVD writer on it)

Let me get this straight. With xxxxxxxxxxxyou were able to stick a xbox game into your PC's DVD drive and were able to read all the files on it. Is that right! Are you sure!!!!! Were you able to burn backup copies of your games on to a DVD-+Rs. More importantly, does the games play on your chipped xbox. Let me know...
P.S - I tried it out with Madden 2005. The game a over 2GB. But when I ran decrypter and inserted the game into by DVD+-R drive, only thing the decrypter was able to see was the .vob files and couple other. It could not see the actual game files.

Alright shakim, yeah it reads the DVD and then it can be backed up on DVD R media. I have done it with Rallysport challenge 2 and Need for speed underground at the moment. The guy in work then burnt the rallysport game for me as it needed 2 cds as it was a multi layer disc? Was this guy in work that showed me how to do it as I was trying to just use my PC to rip the game and was just getting the blank media or not valid DVD message with most other software.
btw, the games play a treat, although on RSC2 I have to keep turning the xbox off and changing the dvd when I get to certain parts of the game (ice racing and hill climbing) they must be on the 'second layer'

Actually guys forget my post as the guy in work gave me the games to copy & I didn't realise they were already copies themselves, sorry to get your hopes up! He dashed mine as well! Looks like I will have to revert to ftp
DO NOT TALK ABOUT OTHER SOFTWARE ON THIS SITE THIS IS A DVDXCOPY/AFTERDAWN SITE...
GO TO AFTERDAWN TO POST ABOUT OTHER SOFTWARE..
