When I use gearworks, it allows me to copy the movie into the library, and then right as I try to burn, within 10 seconds or so it says copy complete, and stops the process.
In external nero, it says it can't initialize DVD burning library in the initial copy phase of the original
How can I fix this

make a new library (name it dvdxcopy temp)or as a temp folder and direct the ripped files there..
make sure that the program is directed to the new made folder.

I'm not very good at this stuff, can you tell me a step by step list on how to do this...
I have a dell 4500
OS windows xp home (no service pack 2 as I heard that causes problems)
RAM 768
pentium 4 1.8 Ghz

go to Windows Explorer make a new folder on c-drive,name it (temp dvdxc).at the start of the program in the (works space folder) direct the program temp to the new folder you made on drive c
thats it.

ok I created the folder right in the c drive.
the work space folder says
C:\DOCUME~1\JASONB~1\LOCALS~1\Temp
do I type C:\temp dvdxc
in that space
or just add it on the end of the original one?

go to the right of the works space window,click on the small square and direct the program to the temp folder you just made..
if you do not understant that.i do not know what to tell you.
