no, they two seperate programs. You would need a license/password to activate platinum.

this is just the update thread, you need to post your problem in the area of the program you have. Platinum 4.0.3.8 is the last update.

Hello everyone. Hope its not too late to update my program. I have dvd x copy platinum version 3.2.1 that I re installed onto a new machine after a major crash. Now the program has all kinds of problems. I would like to try the update to see if this will fix the problems of crashing and greyed out functions. Thank you!
...ps BTW, my program also has the dvd rescue that came with the platinum package, would this part of the program require a seperate update as well? If it does, I would like to have that update too. Thank you! :)
