I can not say enough good things about this program. The folks at customer service are great. A previous owner of DVDXcopy who upgraded to version 5 and could not be happier. I have not had any problems with my activation nor loading and running the program. I have read all tips and suggestions regarding potential problems but have not experienced any. Only thing I have done is disable my internet connection while copying. So far, I have backed up 5 of our favorite films (which I own), now not having to worry about the kids ruining a DVD... Thank you to DVDXcopy Int. and will look forward to any upgrades that are forthcoming. Also, to anyone who is considering this program or upgrading, you will be pleased with the NEW features.

Seems like false advertising if you ask me:

Our engineers have redeveloped the software and improved it. If your current burn times have increased over the last 6 months, or you just cannot burn a copy at all, it is because of the new copy protection they are putting on the new DVD movies. Our NEW V5.0 circumvents all the latest copy protection out there, and will allow you to burn the newest DVD movies to a single or a DUAL layer disk.

What's the difference between V 5.0.0.11 and 5.0.0.13?

retried the movie Forgotten, without Anydvd running and it froze up at 16%. If you are using platinum V 5, anydvd running in the background will help copy that movie.

Yes, I too did the same thing. Had AnyDVD running in the background. DVDXCopy Platinum works fairly well with ANYDVD running. xxxxxDVD works flawlessly.

edit xxxxxx as this is a dvdxcopy forum..

I have the version 5.0.0.13 and I used DVD43 as it says at the top of this page and it will rip those DVDs much easier and won't lock up like it will on The Forgotten. And by the way I love the software, loved the old one also. I never have had any glitches on the backups and can't believe how good it looks after the compression! Also excellent Customer Service. A+++

Just used the beta Xcopy Platinum ver. 5 to do Lords of Dogtown. It crapped out on its own at 43%. Used AnyDVD with the program and it breezed right through and burned fine. Movie came out really good and I am watching it, and it is showing know problems.

First off, I want to say I love this software. I don't have the lastest version though and don't think I can get the latest version because it's been banned in America. I tried using AnyDVD and couldnt copy the forgotten or the grudge. If possible, could someone give me a step by step on using AnyDVD with Xcopy? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

these forums are for xcopy programs, can not mention other dvd copy programs. Afterdawm.com set up this one just for xcopy, all other programs can be talked about over at their main forums.

for update go to the link below, click reply in the link and post for platinum 4.0.3.8

http://dvdxcopy.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/148746

V 5 you will need to purchase through dvdxcopy-international, there is no splash screen in front of the movie. Just read everything here before you make your choice to purchase it.

Just did The Interpreter with Xcopy Platinum ver.5. No need for any other program to run in the background with this movie, it ripped and burned with no problems.
