Also, try this method if DXC seems to work oddly in any way before trying anything else..

(Thanks to Turak for an excellent bit of work here)
====================
Follow these steps, works perfectly.
1. Uninstall previous version via add/remove programs. If it asks to uninstall gear drivers, answer yes. If it does not remove the listing from the add/remove programs box, simply unistall a 2nd time and it will remove the DVDXCopy listing from the add/remove programs box the second time around.
2. Go to the C:\Program Files directory. Delete the entire 321 Studios folder and everything in it. It is all leftovers from the older installs.
3. Reboot the PC.
4. Install the new version 1.4.
5. Go to the c:\Program Files\321 Studios\DVDXcopy folder and locate the file "DVDXCopyInstaller.exe". Double click it to run it. Select "Install Driver Files".
6. Reboot PC. ALL Done.
You now have a CLEAN install of v1.4 that seems to function properly.
From what I can tell, the differences people are experiencing has to do with a few factors; version that was installed, how it was installed (clean vs over top of others), whether old files were removed after an uninstall. The unistall program is somewhat lacking in that it does not remove all the old files.

Thanks again Turak...

Problem: - V1.4 Only

Selection of Default Driver" not being remembered between sessions. (Or it does not appear to be remembered as there is no check mark next to it upon restarting the program)
Selection of External Nero *is* remembered.
Solution

None as yet other to ensure you always select manually, the Default drivers from the Advanced Options box if those are the ones you wish to use *or* you do not have an External Nero program installed on your conputer.

PROBLEM:
======
For those running Win 2K systems with the i860/850 chipsets and the Intel Application Accelerator Program
When DXC begins the copy process and gets to the point where it loads the Gear drivers in, the computer crashes (and usually reboots)

Researched and submitted by Leadvocal (Nice work!)
The cause is a conflict between the Gear Drivers and the Intel Application Accelerator Program.
Uninstall and remove all references to DXC and the Intel Application Accelerator Program, reinstall v1.4.1, do not install the Intel Application Accelerator and DXC should then work fine.
