First, please try to stay within the topic. Your best bet would be to ask that questions in the dvd divx section of this forum.

just to let you know, i am a very experienced xbox modder. u need to have a modchip in your xbox to back up xbox games. THERE IS NO OTHER WAY OF DOING THIS. u may back the game up to the hard drive and play it off of there, or after u "ripped" it to the xbox HDD, you can FTP it over to your computer. then you can encode it to an XISO, not an iso. then you can use nero or alcohol 120% to burn the disc image. for help on this go to http:www.xbox-scene.com go to fourms and search around, or go to tuts

hope this helped

A SOFTWARE TO COPY XBOX AND PLAYSTATION GAMES
WITHOUT A PROBLEM
IT CALLS ILIKEURGAME2 END QUOTE*******

hey mrpiojo, u are lying. do not lie in threads, people like me will get very angry. THERE IS NO SOFTWARE ON THE COMPUTER THAT WILL BACK UP YOUR XBOX GAMES. want to know why? xbox discs are not regular dvd's because if they were, an unmodded xbox could play them. PC dvd drives cannot pick up these discs. and if they do, its just like the INI file or something small. so please DO NOT LIE!

xbox_hack,

Read your note about mod chip and copying XBOX games. I just got an executor2 chip. I was told to get a 4-port router to run from the computer to XBOX. From here I should be able to copy games onto DVD. Is this correct.

I do have NERO, Alcohol 120% and DVD Wizard. Which should be used for XBOX games?

Thanks,

Kale

I also am an experienced xbox hacker as long as your chip is working and you have a dashboard like Evox and an application which will copy the game to your hard drive, such as PX-HDDloader, this comes with evox. Then FTP to your xbox with your PC and copy the game files in the directory to your pc.

Then go to http://www.xbox-scene.com, download an xbox iso creation tool from their site and follow the instructions to make the iso and then burn that with Nero or Alcohol 120%.

Chez,

Thanks for the write. I do have a new dashboard in the XBOX, but am not sure if its the one you mentioned. (I didn't do the hack). Can you tell me what FTP means? What you last wrote, would you say its complicated to do that from start to finish? I'm very new at this and don't understand the majority of terms I come across.

Thanks,

Kale

Hey Kaletaylo

I know exactly how you feel. About 6 months ago I went through the same thing. I had to learn from the ground up. I spent alot of time at xbox-scene and other forums like it. Best thing to do is do there and read the tutorials. It is very easy to understand.

FTP is "file transfer protocol" meaning a way to connect to one computer from another. Your xbox is essientially a computer. So FTP allows you to connect to your xbox's hard drive using your PC. Therefore you are able to copy the files needed to make an xiso (xbox game cd). Later......

Shakim,

Thanks for the write. Yeah, this whole XBOX copying and DVD copying is overwhelming. I have the equipment, but am drowning in all the techno-terminology. I don't understand 90 percent of what I'm reading. However, I do have a friend (the guy who did the hack) who tells me I'm running an Avalanch dashboard (he says is better than EvoX). He also says the program Qwix is easier for copying because it will automatically ftp to the xbox, download the game ot the computer (laptop) and make an iso of it, which I'll then just burn with nero.

Has anyone heard of or used this program?

Later,

Kale

Has anyone tried using a program called CloneXB? I have DL it but as yet (only had the XBOX for a few days) not tried to connect to the Xbox etc. looks pretty easy to use, but??? Anyone used it or seen it work?

Yes I have tried this program. It works great for backing up your games. But you still have to ftp into your xbox. The program reads the game from the xbox not computer. So it is basically the same as copying games to the xbox hard drive then ftping into the box and extracting all the files. This program just eliminates the middle step of extracting to the xbox HD. I am still looking for a way to just put the game into your computer drive and copy it directly to a dvd-r. I know you will need some sort of xbox emulator to read the disk. Because a regular computer drive can't recognize the xbox disk. Some sort of firmware update or something!

Hey,

I just got my XBOX game copying machine going now! I'm running a D-Link router (DI-604) from the XBOX to the laptop. Then using a program called Qwix (with this I make an ISO) then I used Nero to burn to DVD -- bing, bang, boom -- done!

Hey Mazda02, the game x copier is for pc games only. I think it will do PS2 games as well. But I spoke to some at the company and they said it will not work with the xbox disk.

I just visited the site, emulatorforxbox.com. Something is not right. I don't see how you cn play xbox, ps2 backups without modding the system or some sort of swapping. Especially with the xbox. I don't because, I have not found any xbox emulator that will allow you to copy the full game to a disk. If anyone have this program please let me know how it works and if it is worth buying.

Sounds like a load of bull to me.
1. The xbox was released in 2001, how could the site emulatorforxbox.com be since 1999?
2. I've never heard of a 'gamming' system
3. I'm sceptical about it's claims to copy in seconds
4. Code has to be written for an operating system, it will not work on any operating system
5. The gameswitch software would have to rewrite almost the entire coding of the game to enable it to play on a different type of console
6. The site uses some dodgy scripts which no genuine site should really use

Basically, what I'm trying to say is that it looks like a complete con, and you are likely to get ripped off.

Everyone so far I've searched for this So called DVD WIZARD PRO, software and I found a copy on kazaa.. aside from that.. I've looked on google. to see if any site had a copy to download all sites I found lead back to the main site where it tells the following ----

Latest Update! Game Copy Pro now includes information on how to play all of your favorite games >>>> on you PC<<<<<, no console, or mod chips needed! You will be able to play PSX, PS2, Dreamcast, even Xbox games straight from your hard drive. We will go even further and show you how to download games online!

that was Game Copy Pro from there site.. not Dvd wizard pro.. I have that and it's a bunch of other software to copy dvd's or convert them to different movie formats, so to sum everything up
DVD Wizard pro is not used for any PSX PS2 or xbox games.. I'll keep searching for other software out there, one thought if your wanting to play burnt games try a emulator, and get some games from a bittorrent site like suprnova.org
email me with any questions at (Saberoth@Soon.com) also I have a history in burning games.. and playing burnt games.. if that helps.
also get the program called (ABC) for the bittorrent files

well I guess I left a few unanswered questions.. ok.. I'll see if I can turn the lights on a bit.

well Suprnova.org is a site to get files that are called bittorrents they are little flies that you use inside a torrent client program called ABC found at the link below
http://pingpong-abc.sourceforge.net

pretty much what it dose is its sorta like a download mananager but it has different options such as resume save and others.. you can check the linke above for the abc client, now I'm sure there others out there there that may be better but thats the one I use.. so its up to you really

after you have abc installed and go to a site such as Suprnova.org or link2u.tk wich link2u.tk is more of a torrent search page.. you can find alot of what you may be looking for from link2u

one draw back I've seen to torrent files is it takes a few days to get anything most of the time.. but that may depend on your connection

afer you've installed abc and have found things you want on suprnova.org you pretty much have to pick where you want the files saved then it will show you how much is downloaded in abc. play around with it , thats what I've done and had the best results. .if you have other questions on this or other things.. feel free to ask I know alot about alot of different things well I hope this has been helpful
