If the author of the software came forward I would be more than happy to buy additional licenses for the product - show me where to go or whom to contact -- please!!!

Does anyone know if the author might have released the software under a different name??

I appreciate any light that anyone can shed on this.

Sincerely,
Mike in Maine

Hi..

Surely the design team must still be alive and kicking somewhere in the world - only question is how to reach them to aske about the registration.

i did get an e-mail back saying that I am back in business with activations - i will try it momentarily and see how it goes. Obviously there is a server sitting out there somewhere to which someone is overseeing the operation.

As for the links you provided - than you very much. I downloaded the 'full version' that you also posted - how do you get an authorization for that version -- or does it need one?

I have hgeard that the folks at that R&D group were disbanded but that there was one specific guy who was mostly responsible for the X-Shw development. I had the pleasure to speakwith him one day when I was having a problem getting it to burn the DVD-R format - it only does the +R for some odd reason. We never did find a fix for that. But it's easy to copy from +R to -R in Roxio and all is well.

Anyway I am back in business - and happy to be. Looks like we all owe a bit of gratitude to the folks at http://www.dvdxcopy-international.com for keeping the flame burning.
