FORMAT UPDATED TO INCLUDE DVD PLAYER INFO
=================================

Thanks to Chips144 for devising this format by which to give *all* the info that is required to track down specific problems with Movies and DXC as well as help anyone do proper comparative tests to see if the problem is repeatable.

The following is an example of what is needed... Please use the template that follows this example, to submit your own reports from any movie you cannot back up properly with DXC.

======================
EXAMPLE TEMPLATE USING "2010"
======================

MOVIE TITLE : "2010: The Year We Make Contact"
NTSC or PAL : NTSC
1 or 2 LAYER : 1
DXC version : 1.2.1
GEAR or NERO : nero
MEDIA TYPE : dvd-r
MEDIA BRAND : princo
READING PROBLEM : yes
SPLITTING PROBLEM : yes
WRITING PROBLEM : not applicable
DVD PLAYER(S) USED: JVC GD65 / APEX AD1500
DESCRIPTION : DXC says it has a problem with the chapters. The movie only has 1 title set. It is a single layer movie. DXC reports Title Set 1 to be 2517MB. I know this is too small for the movie. I ripped the movie in DVD Decrypter and it reports Title Set 1 to be 4.366GB.

==========================================
BLANK TEMPLATE TO COPY AND PASTE INTO YOUR OWN THREAD

If everyone can submit their reports using this format (which may be enhanced as and when needed, so check back every so often please) then this will simplify the whole process a great deal, in helping identify and fix any problems.

Thanks!!

Mag
