I am looking into buying a Dual Layer DVD burner. Has anyone tried DVDXcopy using a Dual Layer DVD disc?? Will DVDXcopy copy an entire DVD disc on a dual layer DVD??

As long as the burner will copy both single and dual layer discs, using a single layer disk in the burner with Xcopy should not be a problem.

Is there a copy program that will copy a DVD disc on a dual layer DVD disc??

I have a pioneer 107 DVD burner, I am looking at the new pioneer 108 DVD burner which burns the dual layer DVD discs and the single.
If I go with the pioneer 108 DVD burner, will DVDXcopy have any problems making a DVD copy??

I would like to copy 1 DVD to 1 DVD. Not split the DVD into 2 DVDs.

So is there a DVDXcopy program that will use the Dual Layer discs?? Or do I just need platninum X copy or X copy express to compress it to a single layer disk?

I just installed a new 16x dual layer dvd burner and copied some movies with platinum dvdxcopy and they burned all right. However, they don't play on my dvd player, just on my computer. Any idea why that is?
