hi can anybody please help i have copied farcry using games x copy i can install it ok but when i go to start the game it says cannot detect cdrom drive please insert correct cdrom this is from the backup disc if i then put in the origional disc then star game it boots ok can somebody please tell me why this is help really appreciated?

Farcry Has safedisk 3.20 protection, And the UK versions are on DVD,
There are a lot of DVD burners out there that will not burn EFM..correctly
The new NEC 3500 DVD burner can do the job, with the right software.... (Think of a good stiff drink) and if you concentrate 120% you will know the software I am talking about..
If your farcry is of the CD type, then the lite-On 52x24x52 will do the job, Or better still the Plextor Premium 52x32x52.. using the same software as above..
