This is the first time i have had to reinstall the program. When i do and enter the ID and Password am i good to go? Like i said this is the first time ihave had to reinstall.

it is hard to say. The only way you will know is if you try :)
Some things to do though is:
1) disable any firewall and antivirus programs ... If your using XP (XP has a built in firewall ... make sure that is disabled also)
2) double check your license and password
3) if your using a router, you may try to connect directly to the internet without the router, some routers have firewalls also.
Last are you in the US?
